The black tea blend comes from the tender shoots of the Camellia Sinensis tea plant from the highlands of Kenya and Malawi. In Kenya these plants grow in rolling fields of volcanic soil at the perfect altitude of 1300-2200m, while the Malawian plants thrive in the regions of Mulanje and Thyolo within the Shire Highlands. As the tea is certified Fairtrade the farmers who grow the crops are paid fairly, then the tea is imported to the UK where it’s blended and packed exclusively for Out of Eden.
